Child Protection

FCGC is committed to promoting ​and protecting the interests and safety of all children and young people and has zero tolerance for child abuse which includes anything that compromises the health and well-being of children.

All staff and committee members at FCGC are required to have a valid Working with Children's Check and to complete a Child Protection Course. 
All of our coaches are qualified and registered with Recreational Gymnastics Australia as well as completing comprehensive Gymnastics Coach Training as well as a Positive Coaching Course.

​Member Protection Information Officers (MPIO)

FCGC Gymnastics has Member Protection Information Officers (MPIOs).  An MPIO can help a person with an issue or complaint to follow the procedures in an appropriate and consistent way to deal with the situation.
MPIO's do not investigate complaints or deal with issues but help the person with the concern to understand and work through the complaint management Procedure.
