Club Championships is an opportunity for gymnasts to show off the skills they have developed across the year the routines they will have practiced in Block 4.
These events are designed to be age and ability appropriate, so everyone has a great time!

How do I book in?
Gymnasts are auto-enrolled so there's nothing you need to do. The enrollment will be viewable on your account by 1st of September.
Who can come watch?
Spectator entry is FREE! Gymnasts are encouraged to bring along anyone they would like to come and support them.
What will they be performing?
Gymnasts will be performing the routines they have created in Blocks 4.
What is the benefit in participating in this event?
Competitions are a fantastic way to challenge gymnasts and provide many opportunities to develop skills for life.
Our program provides a gradual introduction to competition from participation, to competing to achieve a score, to competing as part of a team, to competing individually against others.
FCGC supports gymnasts through the competitions creating the opportunity for positive competition experiences that develop skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
Child development experts point out that positive competition experiences are good for kids as they develop skills in; performing in public, empathy, managing disappointment, developing persistency, the value of hard work, focus and concentration, and much more.
What do they wear?
Gymnasts can wear what they would usually wear to class. (They should be able to move around, no jeans / crop tops / dresses / socks).
What if we are unable to attend the event?
Submit a future absence via the customer portal. Below are important dates for submitting an absence
Prior to 31st August = You will not be enrolled into the event or charged
Between 1st - 30th September = Enrollment and charge with be deleted
After 1st October = Enrollment will be deleted, and payment will be credited to your account.
Instructions for submitting a future absence:
1. Select "Account", then the gymnast's name
2. Select "Future Absence", then "By Date"
3. Select the date of the event (GymSkills Open & Adult Gym = 19/10/24) and leave a comment saying you do not wish to attend the event.
4. Select "Submit"
