We know there is a lot of information out at the moment so we have created this page to answer our most frequently asked questions about our Return to Gym plan and Covid Safe Policies. The first thing that we need you to understand is that our priority is to get gymnasts back into the gym, so they can continue doing what they love. As such, we have been required to implement a few temporary changes to make sure we are adhering to social distancing guidelines and venue capacities.

When is FCGC reopening?
Both venues (Footscray & Williams Landing) will reopen on June 22nd.
do i need to re-enrol my gymnast?
FOOTSCRAY - Gymnasts will need to be enrolled into our "Return to Gym" classes (with the exception of ALP gymnasts who will be automatically enrolled). These classes are running from June 22nd - July 12th with strictly limited places to adhere to State government restrictions. WILLIAMS LANDING - Classes will resume June 22nd. All families will be automatically enrolled into their class.
Can spectators stay and watch?
All FCGC's Covid Safe policies will continue to adapt and change to reflect current government guidelines. If you would like to view these guidelines they can be found here
As a temporary measure spectators currently will not be able to stay. Adults and gymnasts will be encouraged to say goodbye at the front door. If needed, adults will be able to walk with their child into the gym and to their allocated waiting zone to ensure gymnasts are happy and settled prior to class.
Pre-school classes - Adults will be able to continue attending grown-up and gymnast classes. We kindly ask that one adult per enrolled child attend.
Are classes returning to normal when Fcgc reopens?
No. Just like the easing of restrictions in stages, FCGC will also be restarting classes in phases.
Our priority is that every member can be offered a safe environment on their return. If you have any questions please reach out to us via email.
